Get the Full Size Swing May 28, 2007 Reviewer:  California Mom See all my reviews >

You are really much better off with a full size swing. I purchased this thinking it would be nice to be able to fold the swing up and put it away etc... The motor only works if you push the swing just right to start it, and even then it doesn't go very fast. The seat seems to be uncofortable for my baby as it's more of a sling than an actual seat because of the way the fabric has to fold up to make it portable. Overall I was not impressed and ended up taking it back to the target store and purchased the full size fisher price swing, which I am very very happy with.

Speed Issues April 9, 2007 Reviewer:  Evan's mom See all my reviews >

I have a swing similar to this. The pattern is different, but it's a Fisher Price Open-top Take Along swing. It's beautiful and compact, but the speeds are VERY fast. I've only used it on level 1 (there are 5 speeds) and it goes fast. I put 2 folded blankets on the seat part to lift my 2 week old son up more and the extra weight of the blankets seems to have slowed down the swing. Other than that, I'm happy with the product.

OK little swing April 9, 2007 Reviewer:  KW (Huntington Beach, Ca)  See all my reviews >

It's true that this swing does not go very fast. Other than that, it has been a good little swing. I used it with my daughter, then a friend used it with hers and we will use it again with baby #2. It's held up very well.

HAD TO RETURN IT!!! March 31, 2007 Reviewer:  Mommy X (Redmond, OR, USA)  See all my reviews >

i bought this swing to take along with me on all my camping trips and vacations, but my swing did not go fast enough as the one my son had at home and i had to attach a string to it and pull on it manually to go the speed my son would not fuss at. The qualities i did like was, it was small and it folded up nicely. I had to return it after we used it once....

two swings later-still doesnt work! March 23, 2007 Reviewer:  Jacob's mommy (Holland, MI, USA)  See all my reviews >

I totally agree with SYDNEYETHANMOM. I had the same exact problems as she did. I had nothing in the swing and it wouldnt budge. Then I put the baby in it and it barely moved..and he wsa a newborn! If I turned the swing on AND the music, the swing wouldnt hardly move. It also does not recline so the baby slumps over. I ended up calling Fisher Price and they paid for the postage to send it back so I could get a new one. I did that and the second swing wasnt any better than the first one! [...] I ended up getting my son the rocker and its better. The customer service was good at fisher price though.
I dont know if they make this particular model anymore but its not worth it! I wouldnt buy any other fisher price baby items because I had a bouncer by them and it stunk too!

Worth every cent March 17, 2007 Reviewer:  Mrs Mom "VF" (Batavia, IL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this swing for my three month old initially to bring to his grandma's house while she watched him when I was at work. I ended up keeping it at home because he loves it so much. The mirror is great he laughs and giggles when he sees himself and he loves to grab at the toys on the side. The swing does swing hard enough to rock him to sleep. Sometimes you just have to give it a little push initially to get it going. I also have the ocean wonders aquarium swing which he loves equally but this one is great because it folds up so easily you can bring it with you anywhere throughout the house.

The only downside is that he does slump a little in the seat. I would not reccomend it for a baby younger than 3 months. This is only because the seat has to fold up to be portable. Overall, I think this swing was a great buy!

Watch baby's arms while in this swing March 4, 2007 Reviewer:  Danielle Stone Real Name (NO VA)  See all my reviews >

I got this as a shower gift and couldn't wait to use it. At first she hated it and would fuss while in it. I tried it again recently and she seemed to like it until she reached for one of the hanging toys and got her arm caught between the support leg and the swing part that holds the seat and swings it. She screamed bloody murder and now as soon as we take it out she freaks out. I would go with a travel swing with a different construction/style.

A mini lifesaver! February 26, 2007 Reviewer:  First Time Mom "Melissa" (Downey, CA, USA)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I chose this swing, because of its small size and portability. We were initially worried about it not swinging hard enough to soothe our daughter, but it works just fine. She sleeps for hours in it, and at 2 1/2 months, she's just now learning to appreciate the toys and mobile. I would definitely recommend this swing to others with little space.

Swing is portable and very cute but not very usable. The seat does not recline and my 2 month old slumps down in it. It also moves very slowly, so isn't very soothing. I should have purchased a full size swing.

Hardly a "swing" January 30, 2007 Reviewer:  Lil P's Mommie "Bethany" (Logan, Utah)  See all my reviews >

This may be nice and compact for storage and travel but that is about the only good thing about it. The swing barely moves so there isn't anything soothing about it for my baby....waste of money.
